Whale Watching
Oslob is a little municipality in the
province of Cebu, Philippines. Starting from Argao, we’re just an hour away
from Oslob, but from Cebu City proper, it would take 3-4 hours drive southeast
of Cebu.
We settled in MB’s Sunrise View Resort, Brgy. Tan-awan - owned by a priest... and only require 70
php for the entrance fee. The place is clean and offers decent cottages.
Before allowing tourists to get a close
encounter with the whale sharks, we were called in a tent for an orientation about the guidelines and do’s and don’ts of Butanding Watching.

The Church and The Ruins of Oslob's Watchtower
After the whale watching, we head on to Church
of Nuestra Señora de la Immaculada Concepcion, and beside the historical old church
is the watchtower ruins of Oslob which was constructed in 1879.
The street between the Church and the watch tower ruins was named after the first parish priest of Oslob –Fray Juan Jose Aragones.

And that's all for my 3 day summer weekend adventure in Cebu.
