A Taste Of Lechon In Carcar - Cebu!

When we say tasty Lechon, Cebu will always top the list of its best providers. That’s why when I had my early summer vacation in Cebu I asked my host if he can help us find good lechon. Jeremiah (host), a very dear college buddy told me that we will go to Carcar for a lechon stop before gracing our presence in Argao and Oslob – all part of the Cebu’s southern route.

Lechons in Carcar Cebu

Carcar is a city in the province of Cebu, just an hour away from Cebu proper (bus terminal is just a few walks from Elizabeth mall - bound for Carcar). I have nothing much to say about the city since we just had a quick lechon excursion on the area.

So we went to Carcar public market and saw a lot of lechon. Raaaaaawwrrrr... So mouth-watering!!! We also encountered men carrying lechons along the street... it’s like a lechon fiesta!

The Verdict

The SKIN!!!
Crunchy skin and juicy meat packed with flavors! A taste of it is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous ~ Okay, I made that up! But it's very delicious.

So thankful of the opportunity to try the best of Cebu.
